Absolutely! We love welcoming furry friends. You can bring up to three pets when staying in our Drummochy, Cardy, Keil, Emsdorf, Lundin, Largo, and Durham Lodges. There’s a £30 charge per pet, per stay, which should be added at the time of booking.
To keep Homelands a relaxing space for all, we kindly ask pet owners to follow a few common-sense housekeeping rules — you’ll find these in our terms and conditions.
While on the grounds of Homelands, we ask that pets stay on a lead at all times, including on the grassy areas by the patios. If your dog needs an off-lead run, there are great spots nearby — head to the common (via our east pedestrian gate) or the beach for some off-lead fun!
Please note, our Massney and Selkirk Lodges are pet-free, but registered assistance animals are welcome in all properties free of charge.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your four-legged friends! 🐾
To keep Homelands fresh and welcoming for everyone, smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted inside any of our lodges, on the lodge patios, or anywhere within the grounds.
If smoking is detected inside a lodge, we may need to carry out a deep clean, which could incur a charge of up to £200. We also reserve the right to decline future bookings from guests who are suspected of smoking indoors.
We really appreciate your cooperation in keeping Homelands a clean and comfortable space for all! 😊🚭
Homelands is a self-catering destination, and we do not provide on-site carers or care packages. We leave the organisation of any care services to our guests.
However, if you need help finding local care providers, we’re happy to share a list of care organisations in the area—just let us know! Please note, we’re unable to recommend specific providers, but we hope the list helps you find the right support for your stay.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask—we’re here to help! 😊
Yes! All our lodges have brick-built BBQs on their patios. If you’d like to use one, we offer a BBQ pack for hire, which includes grills, utensils, and a cleaning kit. We operate a £15 cash deposit system, which will be refunded once the BBQ pack and grills are returned clean.
Prefer a disposable BBQ? No problem! We just ask that you only use it on the paved patio outside your lodge and not on the grassed areas.
Enjoy your BBQ and happy grilling! 🍔🔥😊
Yes! Each lodge has its own EV charge point (extra charges apply), which can be accessed using the Monta App.
If you need to charge while you’re out and about, you’ll find details of local charging points at ChargePlace Scotland.
Please note that for safety reasons, plugging your vehicle into a standard 3-pin socket using a granny charger is not permitted inside our lodges.
Happy charging and safe travels! ⚡🚗😊
