Emsdorf Lodge – Accessible, Pet-Friendly & Comfortable Stay. Sleeps 6.

We spent a weekend in the Emsdorf. Stunned by the quality of the house build and the generous space and consideration given to those with bigger challenges than others. It made for a very comfortable stay, nearly everything was catered for down to the tea, coffee, milk and cake on arrival. Genuinely blown away by the facilities and luxury of the space, many thanks to all involved at Homelands Trust.

Ground Floor:

Spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area with patio doors leading to a south-facing garden.

One accessible twin bedroom with Invacare Medley Ergo electric profiling bed and Invacare Softform Premier Active 2 airflow mattress, plus a Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoist*.

Wet room with a showering area, Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoist*, and a ‘Clos-o-mat’® toilet.

Separate toilet with wash hand basin and a utility room for added convenience.

First Floor:

Two bedrooms: a spacious double/twin bedroom and a naturally set twin bedroom.

Bathroom with a bath for relaxation and a separate shower cubicle for added comfort.

*Please bring your own looped slings for hoists. Users must be familiar with hoist operation as training is not provided.
